Chris Thompson
Chris Thompson is Director of
Music at Dauntsey's School, and enjoys music of all types: medieval to
modern, opera to rock, symphonic to world music. As Director
of Music at Dauntsey's School, he enjoys the opportunity of
uniting all these interests and he especially delights in working with
amateur musicians as he feels with such players the true spirit of
music-making can be discovered.
Chris has been a guest conductor with the North Wiltshire Orchestra, and has now been appointed as the orchestra's permanent conductor, following the retirement of Alan Harwood.
