Marcus Agrippa

|
Marcus Agrippa was
responsible for much of the building work in the Campus Martius, including the
Thermae and the Pantheon. In 19BC, Agrippa connected the Baths to his newly
built Aqua Virgo which enabled the Baths to be extended. On his death, Marcus
Agrippa left the Thermae to the people of Rome to be free of charge for
perpetuity.
