Embarked on 75 gun ship Belliste. Arrived at Quebec after 17 days up the St Laurence River. Head winds cause of delay. Embarked again on river boat, arrived at Montreal.

Ordered to Toronto. Marched to Lachine. Embarked on river boats for Kingston. Transferred to others for Toronto arrived at Toronto marched to Barracks. Promoted to Chosen Man - afterwards Lance Corporal.

1850

Promoted corporal. Ordered to Kingston. Embarked on river boats arrived at that place occupied Barracks and ?York file.

Ordered Home. Embarked again on river boats arrived at Montreal again. Transferred to other boats for Quebec for troop ship Sinoom 27 days voyage arrived again at Portsmouth ordered to Canterbury by rail -

Arrived Canterbury. Again ordered to London for Duke of Wellington's Funeral. Battn led procession. Returned to Canterbury. Ordered to Chobham Camp. Reviewed by Queen Victoria.
